More bang for your buck!

Yes, the rumors are true. We pay better than most consultancies out there. We are proud of that. Why? Because our goal has always been to change the game by doing the obvious: focusing on the consultant. Neat right? We believe that having coveted talents in today’s market should pay off. That’s why we pay more. BUT money isn’t everything. That’s why we have a whole wallop of additional benefits. Please read all about it here.

The quickest feet run the most miles.

We live in an ever-changing world. So why do 99% of consultancy companies look and act the same as in 2015? What gives? We honestly don’t know. But what we do know is that we never want to be a part of that clique. We want to keep our feet nimble, the pedal to the metal towards the sunset. We are constantly evolving and adapting to make life as a consultant better and sweeter every year.

Livin’ the Zihuatanejo dream

Many people, unfortunately, view their work as a sort of prison. They Muddle through the workweek to live on the weekend and find their escape outside of work. When it comes to SolidX, we like to paint the picture of Zihuatanejo. Besides being hard to spell, Zihuatanejo is the beautiful coastal town in Mexico where Andy Dufresne and his fellow prison friend Red meet up in the final minutes of The Shawshank Redemption. To be clear, we are not giving you tickets to Zihuatanejo every year. BUT we aim to make work feel less like a prison and more like a place where you can find some peace and enjoy life. Side note: If your contract allows it, you CAN work from Zihuatanejo while on our payroll!

Being an anti-social social company

We like you. That’s why you are reading this. We would like to meet you. Believe us. BUT if there is something we despise, it’s forcing people. We all probably have mixed experiences and feelings on the subject of corporate Christmas parties or the weekly mandatory company breakfast meeting. And because of this, we don’t have any of these events during the year. Of course, we meet up and have stupendously great parties and happy gatherings now and then. But we never force it upon anyone. It’s all about what fits the individual, and having the OPTION to go to a party always feels better than NOT having it.

Good ol’ honest…honesty

As classic as cheese on the patty, we’re sure you’ve heard it before but bear with us. What would a great working environment be without honesty and a big ol’ dash of transparency? A pretty lousy place indeed. That’s why we give good ol’ honesty two thumbs up and add an extra slice of cheese on top. We believe that everyone in this company should have their say and NEVER be afraid to speak their mind. As individuals, we see transparency as a lifestyle of authenticity and honesty. As a company, we see transparency as an effective way to work and create a culture of trust. We trust you, and so with a little bit of elbow grease and luck on our side, we hope that you will trust us! It’s simple and complicated at the same time. But we persevere and still put it as one of the key ingredients to the recipe that is SolidX.

Check your ego at the door.

We show humility, act as doers without ego, and avoid attaching ourselves and our egos to ideas. These are some simple rules to live by at the office, in the work chat, and as a decent person. And that’s what we all aspire to be, right? We like to be humble and admit when we are wrong. It can be difficult, but we should all try, right? Of course, we can acknowledge that we might not always get it right. Our vision of the most outstanding consultancy of all time is not built on the foolish notion that we never make mistakes. We will. You will. But as long as we can keep our cool and try to be the best version of ourselves every day, we might make it.

Having a genuinely great time for a long time.

We work hard. This company wouldn’t be where it’s at without it. Fulfilling our vision requires an intense focus, so we think it’s important not to take ourselves too seriously and try to have fun while doing so. That goes for you too. Together we want to create the best possible place to work. An environment where we all feel included, seen. A place where we can genuinely feel great and have a positive outlook. Finding this balance is a team game. And we are in it for the long run...
